Oil is used in the break in period. Oil gets passed rings at first, one of a few reasons your supposed to change the oil between 5-10hrs use

Oil is used in the break in period. Oil gets passed rings at first, one of a few reasons your supposed to change the oil between 5-10hrs use

It's also one of the reasons not to use synthetic oil for the first 50 hours of break-in.
