Repairs oil leaking through the muffler - craftsman mower

put a new muffler on the mower and now oil is leaking through it. What do I need to do?

Post model number from under seat as well as all numbers from engine and engine manufacturer. Check engine oil level, is oil clean, dirty, smell like gas?

Did you tip your mower on its side to replace the muffler?

Reynoldston, you beat me to it. I'll also bet the mower was tipped the wrong way and oil filled the muffler. If the oil level is right, start the engine up and fog the neighborhood. Should clear up in about 5 minutes.
