have a troy built pressure washer I over fill the oil and then crank the pressure washer up and the oil started coming out the muffler. try to drain the oil and it cranked and smoke the shut off what else could be the problem.

Always check oil level making sure oil is at full mark before & after each use. Also make sure you use recommended grade & weight of oil. Remove spark plug & replace per engine manual, gap to specs.

You need to pull the plug and see if there is oil on top of the piston.
