Hello, I am changing oil on a Honda HRN216VKCA lawnmower, just purchased it from Honda dealer and after my first lawn cut I emptied the oil and only 5.5 ounces came out. I think that is low and the manual says this unit should take .40 of a litter or about 13 ounces. So I put 6 ounces back in and checked the dip stick and it shows that it is at the proper level.
pull the starter rope easy a few times and then check the level again in about 10 minutes and see if the level drops on the stick. If it doesn't I wouldn't worry, just cross out that info on the page and mark in the correct amount.
