OK-I forgot how much oil my B&S 28 hp Professional engine takes w/filter...???
It's on a Husqvarna zero turn 61" cut mower... Anyone know off hand...??? I kinda wanted to change at the beginning of the mowing season @ 50 hrs., I changed last year 2-3 times on break in, but I guess I didn't write it down...:ashamed:...

Just off the top of my head I was thinking either 64 or 78.

Do what I do when I don't know how much oil something takes. In my repair shop I get a lot of different brand engines and don't always know this answer. I start slow with the first quart and slowly add till its full. Not the best system because times I over fill and have to drain some out.
It should be in your owners manual or you could call a dealer and ask for the quantity. You could chesk at a B & S site. Or you could just do what the others have suggested.
