Noisy drive belt while idling YTH22v46

When idling the pedal shaft shakes and clatters. If I push forward slightly on the pedal it reduces this activity, which simply seems to reduce tension on the pulleys and the belt. If I just hold the pedal tightly with my hand it stops clattering too. I replaced the worn drive belt and the clattering now is a little louder. It seems like maybe the idler pulley is bouncing a lot. Should it bounce this much? What kind of adjustments can be made to reduce the clattering noise?

Here is a 20 second video showing this behavior:

That is what belts do then one of the pulleys has some thing stuck in the groove , a big flat sport worn on a flat idler, a bad bearing
Pick one, or 2 or all 3 .
In some cases a really badly worn tension arm pivot hole will also exhibit this behavour
If you levered the engine pulley to get it down far enough to change the belt then you could also have bent the pulley in.
