I have a Cub-Cadet 2186, It was starting fine all day with no problem. I went to start it and as it tried to roll it stopped as if no power to the switch.
I tried to jumper the starter with the switch on but got nothing..Any Idea's what to look for..I checked the two 25 amp fuses they were ok..

I don't know how you are jumping your wires, but if you get good amperage not voltage to the starter and it doesn't work there is something wrong with the starter.

You should have power at the fuse(s) check, then B on the key switch check, out at S on key switch check, into PTO switch (orange wire) maybe.! check PTO switch, from PTO switch into interlock switch, check, out of interlock switch to solenoid, check.
