That's a pretty decent machine. Hard to replace that these days for any reasonable money. If it's still in decent condition I'd look into a motor replacement before scrapping it.
No doubt. You can't buy anything as durable in today's disposable machines. I would repair it. Would be a great winter project. Be water cooled, sounds like a big Kawi $$$$.
