So it’s starting to get nice. So yesterday I charged my battery and it started right up. I was running it and then I lost my Forward and Reverse. What could be the problem?

First and simplest things to check are the drive belt and tensioner pulleys. Remove the deck and crawl underneath.

so the drive belt was off. The belt looks weathered and cracked. I’m thinking I have to take the deck off I should replace that belt also.
To take out the drive belt do you have to take off a pulley and get the belt off through the seat? Or what’s the best way to tackle this?

Would be a lot easier to help you if we knew what brand tractor you have, along with it’s model and serial numbers.
