A funny thing happened. I took out the ignition switch to test it. My wife was sitting on the seat. I showed her how I jumped the solenoid and when I did the mower started. She had to get off of the seat to stop the mower....Why would this start the engine with no ignition switch in at all? not to mention only the seat is the only safety depressed.
