Been reading quite a bit and have settled on the 5k price point, but would prefer to keep it at 4k. I have a .4 acre residential lot. For the most part it is all a hill, with the front yard being the only true flat spot. I am looking at the hustler raptor sd or the gravely zt xl at the 4k price point. If i were to jump up to 5k I was looking at the gravely zt hd. I couldn't find anything else with similar specs at the 5k price point.

All of these mowers might be overkill for my yard, but want something to last, but I cat afford a true commercial unit.

Anyone prefer one of these overt the other, or am i missing anything better in that 4-5k range? Any help or opinions appreciated.

I'm currently push mowing it with a old $99 20" bolens. I have an old snapper 5 speed but it needs work and i don't think it would be up to the task of my new yard.

Looks like a lot if mfgr are running 0% financing. Wondering if I can get a better deal right now going into the fall or wait until spring.

I'd look at the Toro Titan ot the Titan MX I think it's more mower. Right now there giving $500 off and 42 or 48 months @ 0% financing.

I will look into those. I have a toro dealer right down the road from my work so for a service standpoint it would definitely make sense.

Toro titan MX is not offered this year. The they offer a 54 I believe and it gonna be close to 5500 before tax. If its all a hill get a walk behind. Get a Exmark walk behind or a Scag

They still offer the MX on there site so I assumed they still had it and the Titan will be cheaper and it has the commercial 3100 drives and what they say is a commercial grade engine.

I ment the 48 deck is not offered. I wanted that mower but they could only get me a 54 or 60 in for a few hundred more. I ended up getting the ferris is600. Love the mower. Great deck. Stripes nice. Has the 3400 hydro's. And Kawasaki motor for 5500 out the door.

I was just looking at the Ferris is600. It's difficult to draw the line when for just a little more you can get this, and a little more you can get that, and so on. Lol. Too many good options/wants, and not enough money.

Too many good options/wants, and not enough money, :licking: that sounds familiar. The More mowers you look at the more confused you'll get. :confused2:

You can get a snapper pro s50xt in that price range. Fx series Kawi engine and zt3100 hydros. Same deck as the ferris. Mz and mzt series husqvarna are good mowers as well.

That snapper pro looks like a solid mower. That might have got to bumped up to the top with the fx engine and and zt 3100 hydros. I need to get out and demo some this week.
