Old geezer here with (currently) 4 LB sp's that need rear height adjustment lubing. Shops never seem do do this-necessary? 1-10515, 2-10518 and 1-10552. I have run LB's exclusively for 35 years now, won't use anything else.

At last count, I had about 14 Lawnboys; and have had more go through my hands in the 25 years I've been running them. Since I don't know exactly what you mean by rear height adjuster lubing, that means I probably have never done it.....I don't know if this means it's not necessary or just that I might be a bad person....but I don't have any problems with my rear height adjusters...

There are grease zerks on both rear wheels of my self propelled mowers. The owners manuals tell you to pump 1 or 2 squirts of #2 lithium grease into them every 25 hours.

Oh those! Uh oh, I always thought they had something to do with propulsion, not height adjustment. I guess I will have to look at mine more closely....but whatever they are, yeah, I DO grease them.....I only have one machine with them.

I uploaded a pic of my current lb's as my avatar, I wish I had the room to have saved all of my Lawn-Boys (probably 15 or so).
