Hi,
When going forward, it misses a lot of grass and weeds. Seems the left blade cuts better than right but still, in reverse it cuts perfect.
I bought it brand new last year and has been this way since I brought it home. Changed blades this spring and same results.

I didnt really realize that it cuts better in reverse than forward till today, and I would take it back under warranty but my friend drilled a stump yesterday and boogered up the deck. I have a feeling JD wont believe this thing cut like crap prior.

Please excuse any grammatical errors because I typed this on my tele

Is your deck level left to right and front to back?

Left to right, yes.
Front to back, not even close.
Came like that new, I just assumed that how it was supposed to be.
So I reckon I need to turn some bolts huh

Mine came level, first thing I check when it was delivered and gassing it up.
Now these guys said you can drop the back side down a bit to make your yard stripe while mowing and it is called heeling, but if you mower is cutting bad I would level it.

It's me again
Still no good
I'm thinking maybe my blades are turning the wrong way. Which way are they supposed to turn?

Clockwise if you're looking down but I've never seen anyone get belt routing so messed up that the blades spin in reverse. Are you sure the right blade isn't upside down?

So from sitting on top, both spin clockwise?

And positive. Both blades on right. I have the mulching blades with the raised ends. Both ends raised

Any rotary cutter as a correct feed rate. In this case your travel speed determines that. I detect you be in a hurry so put side discharge blades on and slow down. John Deere doesn't make mowers that run in the wrong direction.
