jmurray, crazy; your point about getting higher quality with used is well taken. As for buying new and getting a 'warranty', from my experience with a new, very major brand zt, it ain't worth the extra cost.
Going used, as you mention, most probably will provide one with more quality for the dollar and will in all likelyhood be far less frustrating WHEN it comes time to make repairs. I did not expect to be without my zt for weeks at a time, starting at hour 1/2 or so whereas had I purchased a used unit I would have expected something to go amiss.
Its just that finding a good used mower, not being sold by either a thief or psycho (or both) is nearly impossible-here in the US anyway...
