New to the forum and new to the need of a large mower. Recently moved from suburbia to a 3.5 acre lot. The lot has a gradual slope (~15% with areas of 20%) to lake front. Aside from the slope there are very few obstacles to mow around. I would also like the ability to pull a trailer, till a garden, etc in the future. My initial thoughts are a 4wd garden tractor or subcompact due to the slope and utility needs. Thanks in advance for any advice or recommendations.

If money is no problem I am going to say Ventrac.

I agree 100%. Ventrac is the way to go if you can afford it.

Just what I was going to say, get a Ventrac. They can do it all. From leaf clean ups to lawn mowing.

I think the Ventrac is great for slopes but I have had good results with a Deere x749. I would look into an x758 for a 4x4 mower with 3ph and the Ventrac with its attachments and try to get the dealers to demo them for you on your lawn.
