I have a John Deere G100, I think 2002, that I bought used, about 10 years ago. The carb was leaking gas into the oil, I had to take it apart 3 times before dawning on me that it was a bad accelerator pump(?) portion of the carb that is not included in the standard carb rebuild kit. Since then, it ran mostly fine. I used it to tow a large trac vac trailer thing that attached to the output on the mower deck and sucks up leaves. That has worked mostly pretty good... I also used it almost as a bush hog to cut down overgrown areas of my lawn/woods, really abusing it quite badly. It has taken the abuse and run well.
