Hi, Folks,

I started working on lawnmowers out of neccesity, when I was 14, as my family could not afford to take the things to the mechanic all the time. I can afford it now, but still prefer to fix what I can. I mainly clean carbeureters and put in kits, but do everything else I can. I have good professional friends who do my repairs when I run out of expertise. I enjoy mechanical and electrical forums, and gain a lot of knowledge, but I try to put in my 2 bits worth if I learn how to fix something on my own. I learn far more than I contribute. My knowledge is limited, but I will share what I know. I just used a good post from here today to disassemble a Weedeater riding mower transaxle, excellent help. The mowers and other small engine machines that I have worked on are:

Honda HR 215 and HR 214 self-propelled mowers
Murray push mowers with Briggs & Stratton engines
Craftsman mowers with Tecumseh engines
MTD 14.5HP/42" Lawn Tractor - 1996 vintage
Wizard Tillers with Briggs & Stratton Engine
Murray and Husqvarna Tillers with Tecumseh Engines
Weedeater WE261 riding mower
Onan marine generator (Cummins Diesel) - There is a good forum for boat engines too.
Mercury Outboard boat motors
Honda and Suzuki dirt bikes.
Stihl chainsaws and brush cutters.
Various blowers and weed trimmers

Best regards.
