I have a ZD 326 60" and a ZG 222 48". They are tough machines and do a great job. If I had to replace either I would definately go Kubota again.

The 700 series looks like it only had gas engines. My 222 has a 2 cyl gas Kubota engine. I like the gas engine but the diesel is a bad dog. It is awesome. I see these mowers have Kohler engines in them though.

Kubota makes a real good mower there's no doubt but they just need to be used for the right application, there weight is their biggest draw back IMO. At 1200 and 1700 lbs I don't believe lawn care with the exception of maybe golf courses is the right application.
