New Honda 2417 making loud bangs and cutting out

Hi,

I've got a new Honda 2417. It's mostly working well and does what I need it for, but quite regularly, it makes a loud bang and cuts out. It also cuts out at other times without any apparent reason.

I'd just like to check if anyone has any ideas to see if there's an easy fix or if it's something I am doing wrong? Or should I try to get a replacement?

If it is new, take it back to the store or dealer.
