New Guy abd a Yazoo question

Hello All.
I have a Yazoo YR30 with B&S 11hp 400 cc motor. I changed out the starting motor and put in new battery and now nothing.
What should I look at? Pull start works fine. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
