Hi everyone I'm new here, I got to buy a lawn tractor & want your experienced thoughts. I been thinking of getting a John Deere D125 a 2015 model year & brand new. The price I think no one can match it but still want your ideas . The price is $500 cheaper than this years prices & it's at a dealers. I live in Canada. Thxs in advance to all. PS I have about 1/5 of a acre & too old to use a walk behind.

Keep in mind when buying a John Deere that Deere parts are WAY overpriced. Not to say that a John Deere is a bad choice, but Deeres tend to be pretty expensive to repair.

The choke lever for a John Deere BC1600 string trimmer costs $11.99. The choke lever for a similar Ryobi string trimmer costs 75 cents.

I don't see a problem with it, 1/5 of an acre is not much. Maintaining your equipment is important. I use a d110 on an acre going into its fourth year, no problems. My friend has the d105, cutting over an acre.
