I do not see where one might post for string trimmers. Yesterday the third B&D GH900 died on me. I complained the last time to them and they offered me a free one. I should have taken it. I just want them to make them better. This one also died in less than 150 hours of use. They are great until they die. Does anyone have any experience of electric trimmers that last?

I also have a B&D GH900 120 VAC electric trimmer, for at least a decade now; I like the single line units. I wind my own trimmer line (0.65")

This actually broke for the first time a couple of days ago. The little black plastic lever #90567079 under the spool broke, and I've ordered a new lever through Amazon.

You'll probably be due for a new one in a couple years. When you are, check out the EGO line of trimmers. They run on a 56V battery which also powers several other tools. So far, I love mine. By the way, great pic! 👀

The #90567079 part arrived, and the GH900 trimmer is back in business ! I like the single line trimmer because the 2-line ones are a hassle to re-do the lines. I have a 100-foot extension so being 120 VAC is not too much hassle yet....

If it meets your needs, that's great! It wouldn't work for me - I trim areas probably 300' from my home (AC power source). Cheers! 😁
