NEED HELP

Hello, I have a Craftsman LT 2000 mover from 1998, The engine is good and starts but whenever I let go of the clutch the engine just stops working, It wont move and I am trying to sell it, the seat pressure swich has been on and off. anybody have Ideas on what it could be?
