I have an older 36 inch eXMark. The one I have has the handle to engage the blades. When I try to engage the blades, the handle won’t stay down and the blades dis-engage.

Trying to see if anyone knows what might have caused this. Is there something that needs to be replaced that holds the handle down when engaged?

When you shift the lever did it used to be hard then go easy just before you got the lever to the end ?

If so then one of the pivots has worn oval

Other option is a spring has broken / fallen off

Without knowing which Exmark you have I can not consult the parts books to see how it works .

Yes - that’s what it did. It is a Metro if that helps. Is this an easy fix? Where are the pivots at?
