Hi,

I have John Deere L110. Went to use it the other day and no electrical power, nothing, not even lights. Tried it today and it started right up ran fine Shut it off to add gas and again no electrical power. Can not figure it out.

Could it be a failing solenoid? If you are brave, :confused2: place a well insulated screw driver between the 2 screws on the solenoid and see if it starts. If it starts, could be the solenoid. If you have a safety switch on the seat, someone will have to sit on it, while doing this.

No it can not be a failing solenoid if there is no power TO ANYTHING.
The solenoid only provides power to the stater motor.
Jkohan the original poster has no power anywhere so it is a failing power circuit not cranking circuit.

You are right, I missed that he didn't have any power the second time!

We all miss things.
Nothing against you & not trying to be picky.
A lot of people never post they just search looking for an answer so we try to keep what is posted accurate
