I found a steel plate help down with thumb screws on my new Kubota ZD326. The plate is just in front of the radiator.
Sure would appreciate knowing what it is used for
Inspection/clean out, allows you to clear grass trimmings and dirt build up away from the cooling fins... :smile:KennyV

Thanks
Kind of strange to me
The plate is not covering anything just a steel plate held to the frame with two thumb screws
Removed it no hole in the frame

KJINTF,did you ask this over on TBN?If not I was reading over there that after taking off that plate what looks like metal is really a plastic cover, you take that off so you can grease the Zerk on the shaft. russ

Yes it's a great machine
Should last many years
ZD326-P = Zero Turn Deisel 300 Series w/ 26hp three cylinder water cooled engine, flat free front rires and 60" cutting deck
Spent the last two days removing stickers and waxing it - Looks great now
Why are there soo darn many stickers everywhere?

Lawyers=lawsuits=excess stickers. I've got the 28hp Kubota diesel on my Grasshopper and it's a bear of an engine. russ
