Need help making a decision on which Zero-Turn to buy

Okay...new a new model has been added to the mix:

Looked at a Ferris 700 & 2100 today. They have a dealer in my town, and I really like the suspension that they offer.

Anyone have any info or input on Ferris, the 700 or 2100 models, the suspension, or quality of cut?

I think that I am now down to the Gravely Pro Turn 152 XDZ & the Ferris 700 or 2100.

Wow another mower? I learned a long time ago that if you want to know what to buy check and see what the guys in your area that are making a living are using, 9 times out of 10 there going to be mowing with the good stuff. In this area Toro, Hustler and Exmark are the way to go, that's what the Lawn Businesses are using. The mowers you have been describing are all good mowers, the Ferris is a good mower but personally I wouldn't want one for my business nor would I use a Gravely or Husqvarna, I don't think there cut quality is as good as the Toro's or Hustler.
It's the same thing for engines, Briggs makes an engine, Vangaurd makes an engine along with Generac but if isn't a Kawasaki 1st or a Kohler 2nd I don't have a use for it. It all comes down to personal opinion and preference. IMO the 2013 Hustler X-One i with 22 Hours for $6500 is the way to go out of the ones you mentioned. I will tell you this though the more mowers you look at the more confused you'll get.

To start with Husqvarna has nothing to do with MTD, there not Mtd Mass produced. The Hydro gear ZT 3400 is for mid-range commercial applications then you can move up to the 4400 or 5400 series each is heavier duty. The Parker HTE 10 is there entry level and would be similar say the Hydro gear 2800/3100 drives, it's for a lighter application.Then they have there HTJ like the Hydro gear 3400 which is there commercial and the HTG is there Professional model. I surely wouldn't worry about anything that Parker is producing. If you found a 2013 Hustler X-One i with 22 Hours for $6,500, that would be sitting on my trailer in a heartbeat. That puts everything else you mentioned to shame.

@ lawn pro. I think you wanted to say, I surely would(n't) worry about anything that Parker is producing. Am I right?

I have been looking at different Zero-Turn brands and would appreciate everyone's input/opinion.

I currently mow 3 Acres, which is flat.

Looking at the Husqvarna M-ZT 52, Husqvarna M-ZT 52 - Zero turn mowers

Seems like a solid mower...Heavy Duty Frame, Large Tires, Foldable ROPS, ZT3400 Hydro's, Kawasaki Engine, 10 Gauge Fabricated Deck, no too happy with the chain hung deck though.

The only thing that it seems to be lacking is a Donaldson Air Filter.

I've been looking at the Gravely Pro-Turn 152 HDX, but am having a hard time justifying the $2,480 price differnce.

I've also looked at Hustler, Kubota, and Bad Boy. I kinda want a Commercial Grade Zero-Turn to ensure long lasting durability.

Any thoughts/input/recommendations?

For what its worth, I replaced a cub cadet with the Exmark Pioneer S this spring. After all the research on some of the same mowers mentioned so far, the opinions of great individuals here and around my area, etc. I decided the Pioneer S 60 inch offered the best ride, quality, and some commercial details was the choice for me. Absolulely no regret and no change in my opinion after a month of mowing.

Exmark pioneer s series is at that line were mowers go from redisential to commercial, and better than some commercial mowers of other brands. Best for the money paid in my opinion. I Mow 3 acre lawn and some around my father in laws farm. I find myself more impressed with each mow.

Exmark dominates commercial and serious residential mowers in my area...the lazer series is the commercial level...and I see why as the feel, performance, and quality is outstanding. For me it was important to have dealer local as well. Sure you will find your best ride for you. You have a great list going. These are some good guys on this site who all have thier choice in mower like mine is Exmark. The site did really help me with opinions and valuable information in what to look for. You are in the right place.

I think that I am now down to the Gravely Pro Turn 152 XDZ & the Ferris 700 or 2100.

The suspension systems(on Ferris) is IMHO more gimmick than functionality. The full suspension seat on the Gravely will be better. Also, the X-Factor deck on the Gravely is much heavier duty than the Ferris ICD deck. Have you demoed both? I've had my Gravely Pro-Turn 152 since the Fall of 2012 and have just over 50 hours on it. If you want commercial quality you won't regret getting the Gravely!!!

P.S.
I also HIGHLY recommend the Gravely mulch kit(if you want grass clippings to "disappear"). JFG, what is the best deal your Gravely dealer is offering on the Pro-Turn 152???? Try to get him to "throw in" the mulch kit installed for the same price. You may be surprised that he may do that to get the sale.

If your going with the ferris get the 2100. I wish I could have got that. The suspension on the 700 is weaker. Both have great cuts. I have the 600 and love it but wish I could have afforded a high end model.
