this spring came off my cub cadet zt1 54 in mower the other day. I have tried to figure out what it is with no luck so im hoping someone here can help me out. I still have the spring on the one side which is what the picture is of. It looks like its part of the drive and something with the control arm but nothing in any diagrams from cub cadet can identify it. Right below #14 in the diagram. Any help is appreciated.

Give us the model and serial numbers for the unit so we can look up other pictures to help you out.

I'd measure the required length. Then go to Lowes and walk myself over the spring assortments.

Reality Check: It's a spring, not piston rings.

Yes a spring is not a ring, but it does have a set amount of tension. Just grabbing one that looks the same, but with a different tension can cause a hydro problem. Do it right the first time.
