Need help identifying antique mower [issue resolved}

That intake pipe on the old Briggs might be a metal pipe rather than plastic. My money would be on a bad diaphargm between the tank and carb. Keep us posted on what you find.

Manifold tube was loose. I took it off, cleaned it, reinstalled correctly, and the mower runs fine. One fixed, three to go. Thanks everyone!
