I have a new to me 1515 with 38" deck. One spindle was
taken apart and the other had bearings and spacer destroyed.
The pulleys were removed from the idler adjust bar.
The bar has a funny bend that does not seem normal, and I
would like to have a description of the bend, or straightness
of the bar.
Can any one help?
The parts list picture is useless.

Sounds like you have bought several problems.
You need to post the tractor's model numbers from under the seat.
This is a great picture, and it illustrates the bend in the bar. However
my 38 inch deck is more complex in that it utilizes 3 pullies with
2 mounted on rgw bar and one mounted on the bracket below the bar.
Right now my bar is flat and I had to add an additional spacer on
one the pulley that feeds the belt back to the motor PTO.
It sees to be bent at an angle that causes the belt to slip off.
To solve the problem so far, I had to lower the PTO 3/8 inch so the
belt would drive a little straighter. I am afraid if adjust the deck
lower the belt will walk off.
Is that a 42 deck?
I think I need to buy one as it is much simpler.

Can you get the model number and I can get a better pic.
Or you can just google your model numbers and look at pics
