I doubt it as it worked fine before I put it away. Maybe though. I never hit anything. The blade spins freely and no play with the fan on top. Not a mark on the cutting blades. I would check but I don't have a 21mm socket or which ever one fits it. If it can get one I will check though. Thank for the tip.Or it could be a sheared flywheel key since this is a bar blade walk behind mower.
Would you know the socket size. I can't find it with google. The part is 690662 Looks close the 21mm but just a guess. Some blade impacts don't leave a mark. But the sheared key is just a thought.
No smell of gas in oil. The spark is bright white/blue and can be see fine outside in the light. Plug is not wet when I pull it out. I turned it over quite a few times with plug out to check for flooding. I even cleaned to threads well to make sure the plug grounded. Tried spraying started fluid into the carb and also tried spraying into cylinder. Nothing. I don't even get it to pop or make any sounds of tying to start. I just don't get how I can have a good spark but no attempt to start with fluid.Remove the dipstick and smell for fuel in the oil. Wondering if the carb is dumping fuel flooding the cylinder causing hard starts.
Sounds like you have spark. Is it a strong blue or does is fire off as orange? Have to check this in the dark. Orange is a weak coil or poorly grounded coil.
