I came across a menu page on this site that had a very long list of owner's manuals and a few service manuals available in pdf for various MTD models (craftsman, white, etc) for many of their products including tractors. I have not been able to get back to that page. Would someone have the link?

No it was the MTD service site, but many of the manuals seem similar.

I have used this site in the past very helpful, but you do need your model numbers.

I think that website is part of the dealer only website. There is a parts and owner manual look up at the mtdproducts.com website, but the service part of the site contains dealer proprietory information not available to the general public.

The site I somehow got connected to has not been listed in this thread. Unfortunately, my history clears and I am unable to find it. It listed a number of models, all with owner's manual links and some with service manuals links, maybe 200 or so models, about every tenth had a sm link. It appeared to be the main page linking to manuals like this one:
