When i let the clutch out the end dies. I have checked the switch under the seat and the switch for the mower. no luck

Thanks for the reply. I did check all 3 switches with a continuity tester and they all tested good. Cleaned everything and put it back together and now it runs. Maybe something was not making a good contact.
 
no doubt!.....these switches are exposed to the wet grass.....which corrodes all that stuff.....but if it pops up again...you'll have a culprit :smile:
