that is a wide open statement ?? small push mower or large rider? Does the engine turn over? Pull rope or electric start? Give us something to work with.

Ok we have something now. It needs Fuel, spark, compression, and timeing and it will run. START SMALL Is it getting fuel, out of gas, pluged fuel filter, bad gas tank cap. Fuel filters are cheap change it. next thing spark, when you are buying the fuel filter buy a new spark plug and change it also cheap. Like I say start small so if this doesn't work we will get into the next stage of repair. Pluged carburetor, bad coil, striped flywheel key, big hole in the piston, another new mower????
