If I press the primer button once or twice befit dies I can keep it running until it warms up. I can do this by clamping the throttle all the way openPulling the fuel hose off AT the carb inlet confirms two things, if you have a fat flow of gas.
1.Fuel tank cap vent is venting proper.
2.Fuel hoses, filter and a possible shutoff are flowing proper.

Might need a carb and fuel tank clean out.
Remove the air filter and housing. LOOK into the carb throat AKA venturi. Verify you see a small blob of gas jumping up vertically out of the bottom of the carb when you hit the primer bulb. If you don't see any gas, primer bulb needs some love. Sounds like yours is working a little.
