My engine cuts off when blades are engaged. (like when you try reverse w/blades on) Probable cause (Iwas told ) is bad safety switch. Does anyone know location before I go digging in engine compart?

Does your engine turn off when you disengage clutch/brake pedal when sitting on seat?
Now with brake disengaged and you stand up with engine running, does engine cut out?

465306x8 Parts List Check pto switch & wiring. If you have a multimeter tool print out wiring diagram & troubleshoot, let us know how it goes, thanks.

cuts off when I push lever down to cut (blades engaged) Otherwise it runs well :thumbsup:

That will be because the mower thinks ( as far an an inaminate object can think ) you are not in the seat.
SO eiher the wire that goes from the PTO Switch to the seat switch is broken of if it has an interlock between the switches then it is suspect.
