Hello, I have a Ultra by Murray i purchased it from Home Depot in 1997. I need a new muffler and cannot find the model number to the mower to buy the right muffler. The behind the seat is a sticker, but it is completely worn away. I should have written it down but I figured it was on somewhere else on mower like the engine sticker - it is still strong. Anyway, can someone tell me the model number for my mower from the engine info?

Take a few photos of your mower.
The dash board , the height control, the blade engagement control , the speed selection control the brake & the clutch pedals then the back axel.
Some one will recognise it from those or at least give you a rough idea.
My Murry master parts book is 3000 pages thick ( 4 volums ).
Murry made a lot of mowers
