I need to know on a Murray 42698x93A riding mower/Briggs and Stratton 287707 what would cause after mowing the yard the front left tire axle to be so hot that it melted the plastic bushing in the wheel, and I mean burning hot? Is it because there is something not grounded or a hot wire is touching the metal in that area somewhere? I can't find this answer on Youtube or on google anywhere. Please someone help me, this has happened twice the last two times I mowed.

I Googled that model. Can't find a picture of what you have.

Post up a picture on here so we can tell for sure what's going on. Clean your engine cooling fins while you are at it.
