42828x8b with Tecumseh 17.5 Enduro engine. OEM engine engine Lhead twin Briggs. PO put in his own headllight switch on a on/toggle switch on the side cause he didnt know how to turn the lights with the key switch.
First time fuse holder melted a 20A fuse and found broken terminal on the connector plug on the key switch. The broken terminal was leading to the fuse holder. The wire on the fuse holder is bolted on the solonoid. I got 25A fuse and still gets hot. Fuse fits loose and wont go in any further for a tight fit. Is this normal? Mower will start and run when turning key. New key switch. Fuse holder gets hot even if key is off. Thought about replacing battery cables and see if that changes anything.
