Hi there, we have a Murray mower deck with a worn off model number, but we can make out a 22261x12 .. so we assume it's the 22261x12e from some google searches. What we're wondering about is, what was the original engine that was on this mower? I couldn't quite figure it out except for a single post for help on manualsonline.com that seemed to imply the original engine was a briggs sprint 3.75hp. Would love to know if this is actually the original engine type sold on this mower, or if it was sold with a different engine originally. Ours currently has a quantum 1994 briggs engine on it (we bought it used).
