Hello Everyone,

My mother's lawnmower has a problem. 1. The drive engage is not working so it has become a pushmower. 2. It sounds like it is struggling as you can hear from the video I have attached. I am hoping this is an easier fix and not a major problem like the engine or motor going out. The lawnmower is not that old, only around 2 years and we have around a 1.5 acre lot to mow so it is not heavily used.

Here is a picture of what I think is the model number. It was the only numbers I could find on the lawnmower.




Here is the video of my lawnmower running so you are able to hear how it runs. Please help me figure out what is wrong. My mother is a very cheap person and does not want to buy a new lawnmower.

For the drive problem... check the control cable on Both ends... (it may have came loose OR off). Also check the belt.

That Honda engine sounds like it is not getting fuel correct... check for a little water in the bottom of the fuel tank, plugged fuel or air filter... The engine sounds okay, it is just not running okay.
sounds like your MIL is frugal, like me... not necessarily cheap.
A Minor cleaning & adjusting, should have her mowing like new... :smile: KennyV
