I just had my lawn tractor serviced and deck belt and center pulley replaced. The service man said the PTO belt had a few rough spots in it but should work for a while. About 2 minutes after I engaged the blades the belt started smoking like a chimney so I disengaged it. Would a worn PTO belt cause this to happen? The service man said the other bearings were turned freely. Do you think one of the springs or brakes might be hooked up wrong? Thanks for your input
