Mower won't start

My mower won' start, how do I check the safety switches and solenoid?

Any help would be appreciated.

you start by telling us exactly which mower with what engine that you have .
Model & serial numbers are very helpful.

They you tell us exactly what is happening.

Motor turning over but no bang.
bang a couple of times but won't catch.
won't turn over at all
