Mower stops going forward and blades stop

I have a Walker 26 HP Efi. When the grass hopper is down it will stall when you hit a bump. If you raise it and drop it back down it will immediately resume operation as normal.

check all wiring by hand for loose connections, including ground straps & cables from engine to chassis.
