Our lawn mower is set so it won't make contact with the rocks. That means that we have to mow much more often because we don't cut the grass down low. I don't suppose there's anything we can do about it?

How high are you mowing? I like to keep my mowers set at 2 1/2 to 3 inches, the people who whack their lawn off at an inch and a half are ruining their grass.
