Mower deck ramdomly shuts off

The mower deck randomly shuts off while mowing. The deck engages after we shut the pto switch off and turn it back on. I have replaced the pto switch. Any suggestions?

Is there a reverse shut off switch on your machine -- it could be engaging and shutting off your mower.

Same with a seat safety switch -- those safety switches are good for some applications and some people, but when they are not adjusted properly or there is a short in the wiring they can be a pain.
