I was listening to a radio station out of detroit on saturday that answers questions from listeners with auto motive problems and they talked about a product called motor something that is supossed to stop grass fron sticking to the mower deck.

Does any body know what this product or anything else that will help

Spray on Pam or any veg oil will reduce sticking...
All my mowers are generally very clean with little or no build up, I really don't use anything for sticking grass...
I do spray my shovels, hoes, blades and loader buckets to prevent snow and dirt sticking...

Might be a stupid reply but what you said made me think of a product called "Motor Kote" for some reason..will have to Google that later today. I tried to use spray auto body undercoat one time on a new mower to stop grass building up, it still stuck, and when I tried to scrape off the grass, off came the undercoat. Don't even bother...I have some mowers that go back to '86 and the decks are still solid.

mitch, might try EZlide.it's a brush on or spray on graphite paint.you'll need to take the deck down to metal before applying it. I think the poster Pete Lord has some good commets on some products and procdures to painting. You can google EZlide to find out who sells it nearest you,and I would read Petes notes . russ

It is amazing what Pam and other similar products will do. It's a little like baking soda; made for one specific purpose but actually can do many different things. Give it a shot!
