I just bought a 99 Troy-Bilt Riding Mower. Not 100% sure about the year. It has a 46" mower deck and a 25HP engine. Pedal driven. The PTO belt popped off while I was mowing. I would like to put it back on but I have no idea where this one pulley goes. It is hooked to the underside of the mower body (not attached to the mower deck) and has a spring on it. This spring needs to hook somewhere and I have tried everything and everywhere. The pulley is a tensioner type of pulley I believe. Does anybody know where that spring/pulley gets hooked up. The mower deck itself has a lower set of pulleys and a belt, and an upper set of pulleys and belt. I believe the lower belt is called the deck belt and the upper one is the PTO belt. I am dealing with the PTO belt. It hooks to the PTO pulley and then goes to this tensioner pulley with the spring and then to the upper deck pulleys. I just cannot figure out how this tensioner pulley with the spring gets hooked up. Any help would be greatly appreciated it. A video or diagram or just an explanation.
Thank you,
Lance
