Mower deck mower deck belt coming off

Does anyone who owns a John Deere L 120 or the John Deere X320 have trouble sometimes with the mower deck belt coming off?
It usually happens when I don't do a very good job of picking up all the very small twigs that are under the oak trees.
I guess the older I get (67 years old) the lazyer I get.

Remove idler pulleys top of deck & check center bearings for being worn out. Hold idler pulley in one hand & spin bearing with opposite index finger, is bearing dragging, have sloppy play, etc., also how does pulley look? Use JD OEM replacement parts if needed.

I went to local Home Depot & picked up a 5 gallon bucket & 36" pick up tool, grabber, & pick up sticks, twiggs, pine cones, several times a week. This saves your back as well as blades & belts.

iLenGine,Mechanic Mark, I appreciate the comments. Mechanic Mark all pulleys,bearings, and belt are in great shape. I have to agree with iLenGine, I believe the deck has a flaw of allowing small twigs to be thrown onto the deck allowing it to throw the belt off sometimes. Just yesterday a neighbor who has a John Deere L 120 like mine asked me if I had a problem sometimes with the mower deck belt coming off. I guess it is on me, I have to do a better pre-pickup before I mow. Just at 67 years old I hate having to pickup every little twig.
