mower adjustment

I thought I had posted this question before. I just received an email from Lawn Mower Forum that I had not posted. So, if there is two posts from me with the same question, I do apologize.

I have a Craftsman, 24 horse power, 46 inch lawn tractor. It is out of warranty.

My problem is the mower. Some how it is now rubbing against the left wheel. This is left wheel as you would sit on tractor.

I have my manual now. I am reading there is a 'side to side' adjustment. As well as a 'front to back adjustment.'

So, my question is the front to back adjustment the adjustment I need? And also what would have caused this problem?

I know I could just try it and see if a front to back adjustment would correct the problem. However, I would rather talk to some of the experts here and know for sure what to do first.

Appreciate any help you can give me.

thanks

I think what your saying is the deck is rubbing on a tire is it the front or the back tire.

The front to back and side to side adjustment does not move the deck front or back or left to right.
It levels the deck.

If you rise and lower the deck does both sides rise and lower?
Could be a lift bracket has came off or bent

(( cowboy up and get over it ))
